Like everyone mention buying a filter will save you more money in the long run, however a filter from the faucet doesn’t taste quite like the filter bottled water you buy in the store. There are ways for you to buy bottled water and give back to the environment at the same time…Its called recycling! You can recycle your bottles after use. You can also invest in a water cooler that way you can fill your bottle every few weeks(i have one of them in my room). You have many options I hope I was of good help.

A simple filter at the tap will improve the water quality somewhat. But, it’s not like installing a reverse osmosis system (this results in almost pure water). Over the long haul, you will save money with a filter. Also consider that it takes energy and excess water to produce one bottle of water (it takes about 3 liters of water to process one liter of bottled water). Not to mention the trash generated by the improperly disposed bottles. So, it’s more environmentally friendly to use a filter.

  5. It is much better to use a filter, you save a lot of money and a lot of waste.
A lot of bottled water is the same as tap water, even coming from municipal facilities. However, natural spring water doesn’t come from tap water, but it isn’t any cleaner or better either.
