2.2 Litre Oven Proof Dish For Lasagne?

Ok, so I’m planning to make a lasagne next week and am following a recipe that asks me to use a 2.2 litre oven proof dish. I want to buy some new dishes anyway so thought I’d get this but looking it up online I can’t find anything of this description. It’s all mixing bowls and such. Anyone know what 2.2 (or 2 even)litres would be in cm or length.

But I’m not sure if that’s the right size.

  1. I(f it’s any help a litre is approximately a US quart.

    I have a lasagne pan which is about 2.5 litres. It measures 22cm x 30cm (9" x 11 1/2")

    I have no idea how big a 2.2l dish is. I DO know that any lasagne recipe I’ve used requires a 9X13" pan at a minimum.
