How do you install a spayer to the water supply in the kitchen?
I bought a new sink and faucet as i am renovating my kitchen. I dont know much about plumbing. I have the hot and cold lines going to the hot and cold pipes for the faucet. The spayer hose looks as though it is supposed to connect to one of the lines. I want to connect so that I could choose the temperature of the sprayer based on my faucet. Is there something i should be looking for? Otherwise i was going to just hook it up to either the hot or cold water supply.

if the faucet that you bought did come with the sprayer, under the faucet/sink itself there should be either three drop down copper lines, two are for your hot and cold supply lines (HOT is usually marked) one is for your sprayer, and if under your faucet/sink you don’t have three lines coming down, you probably have 2- 1/2" threaded adapters coming off the faucet itself for hot/cold, and one 3/8" threaded adapter for your sprayer. Follow the instructions from your new faucet if not visit their website.
But you cannot connect the sprayer to just the hot or cold supply line the sprayer will always spray whatever temperature you set your faucet at, when you adjust your lever or knobs.
good luck
if the sprayer came w/ the faucet there suold be a connection on faucet for it. it may be capped off as this is optional.
read instructions that came with faucet! most have spray connections at center / bottom of faucet if faucet is designed for it. some of the newer ones don’t
