But since we’re talking about an *EX*, I would be alarmed that buying me all that stuff was prelude to her trying to get back together with me again (and usually an EX is an EX for a REASON)
I’d be fairly creeped out, since when I break up, it’s normally because I never want to see her again. I’d just have to reiterate that desire to never speak with her again. (And probably not accept the gifts, since I wouldn’t want anything that would remind me of her. If she dumped them on my porch when I wasn’t around to reject them, I’d just give them away or something.)
Offended? Definately not. It’d be weird, but not offensive.
PS- Actually, I forgot.. when I was younger, I had several relationships that ended on good terms. In those cases.. offended, no. But it’d be weird, you know? I mean, who just randomly buys utilities for their ex? Unless she got some kinda really good sale, I’d think she was probably a little strange.
I’m not a man but I would be happy to receive such gifts. I recently bought a rechargeable hand vacuum and it’s awesome… I want a new set of knives and a stand mixer. I’m not a very domestic person but for some reason I have an interest in domestic items, kind of like a man who is into power tools but rarely uses them. In stores I like to browse the cookware and housewares sections.
Absolutely not, I’m considering getting my wife a bass boat for her birthday to go with the band saw & power drill I got her for Christmas. I’ve always been told you give gifts you’d like to receive yourself. Problem is that I haven’t seen that woman since I gave her the new rod & reel for Valentine’s day.
New cookware would be nice (I have a portable vacuum), but "ex" means "EX". Unless you work it out to be buddies after the fact and exchange presents normally. Otherwise, it is just the ex-gf demonstrating the same controlling, self-centered traits that likely resulted in the break up in the first place.
Offended? Not in the least!

Hi Sky !
I wouldn’t be offended, I would just not take em because I have all that I need.
Oh boy, I would be a millionaire if GF’s from my past decided to buy me such gifts !

I would be delighted!
I like cooking and doing little jobs around the place.
BTW, welcome back, I’ve missed you.

I’d get him a decal for his car that said, "I <3 Ladies" or something instead, just to fuck with his head ^5
Nope, I would hug her and kiss her all over
If any of my exes bought me ANYTHING I’d be shocked…
