I want to change the bathroom faucets and knob thing etc…how hard is this to do?

We just got a new house and the faucets and knob/handles are old and we want to buy new ones and change them out…
We have no idea how to though haha. Is it a difficult thing to just change the tub/shower "hardware"? We dont want to do anything to plumbing inside the wall…just [...]

in order to replace bathtub faucets (due to a leak), do you have to remove the wall behind the faucet?

same question for teh spout and the shower head. I might as well replace all three items since the kit I bought comes w/ all three and I am not sure where the leak is.
