Hi guys,
I would like to buy a faucet and hose and connect it to my toilet pipe. Any idea what is a standard size or dimension of the pipes in the bathroom in the US?

If you mean the flexible hose you use to connect the toilet to the turn off valve (there is not always a turn off valve in older homes). Then when you go to the store make sure it is labeled as a "toilet supply line". It will be 7/8" on the toilet end and will give you a range of different ends for the supply side. Generally it is 1/2" iron but it can also be 3/8" compression or 1/2" compression. You need to look at you pipe and make a determination. If you have a shut off valve, then I would shut it off disconnect the existing line and bring it to the hardware store with you and hey will give you an exact replacement.
But since you mention a faucet, I will assume that this is the faucet you refer to. Know as a shut off valve. If it is an iron pipe it will generally be 1/2" iron. If it is copper it may or may not have a threaded end. If threaded it will be 1/2" iron. If not then you will need a compression fitting. Most of the time this will be 1/2" but could be 3/8" in some remodeled homes. When you buy the valve you will need to be aware of the end that goes to the toilet and that wil determine the supply line you purchase.
1/2 inch
1/2" copper is the most common, but some newer homes are using PEX flexible pipe.
